YOUNG AUDIENCES OF ATLANTA LAUNCHES
NEW WEBSITE
September 25, 2001 - Young Audiences of Atlanta
has launched a new website www.ya-atlanta.org, designed by the award-winning
interactive studio, Cyberteks Design (London, Ontario, Canada) completed
in cooperation with Interep Radio Sales Inc (New York, USA). Young Audiences
of Atlanta is Georgias leading provider of arts programming, providing
quality educational programs to more than 1.7 million throughout Georgia.
Young Audiences new website features include: an online program
guide with a searchable database of more than 300 Young Audiences
programs; resources for parents, teachers & artists; and notable facts
on the value of the arts and Remote Publishing Tool that enable
YA Atlanta staff to update the website at any time. Young Audiences
is proud to present our new website which will enable us to meet the needs
of more schools and community organizations, and do it more efficiently,
said Young Audiences Executive Director Tony Kimbrell.
The new Young Audiences website designed by Cyberteks Design of
Canada was founded in 1999 by 11 year old Keith Peiris. Now the CEO and
President of Cyberteks Design, Keith supervises offices in Toronto, Montreal,
New York, Washington D.C., Maryland, Virginia, Texas, Florida and Michigan.
The Cyberteks Design design team led by Keith Peiris has received numerous
awards including: mention as one of the Top 50 web design companies
in Canada for two consecutive years by the National Post Business
Magazine; featured in Micromedia Flash Showcase since November 1999; and
received Outstanding Digi Youth Award by the Hong Kong Productivity
Council.
Young Audiences of Atlanta is a non-profit educational arts organization
that brings the best professional artists into school and community settings
all over Georgia. Young Audiences received the National Medal of Arts
in 1994, established by Congress and given by the President in recognition
of outstanding contributions to the excellence, growth, support and availability
of the arts in the United States. Young Audiences of Atlanta received
the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce Abby Award for Arts Education in
1995.
Young Audiences of Atlanta, Inc. is a non-profit educational arts organization
and receives major funding from the Georgia Council for the Arts through
the appropriations of the Georgia General Assembly, the Council is a partner
agency of the National Endowment for the Arts, the City of Atlanta Bureau
of Cultural Affairs and the Fulton County Commission under the guidance
of the Fulton County Arts Council.

Radio of the United States. Branham300 published in the National Post
Magazine of March, 2001 recognized Cyberteks Design among this year's
