Rogers Television’s Real Estate TV Show nopricelikehome.com Celebrates Airing of 1000th Home

[Thursday, July 3, 2003 - London, St. Thomas, Strathroy, Tillsonburg, Woodstock] Rogers Television’s nopricelikehome.com, a local interactive TV program that showcases London and area local real estate listings with a game show twist is proud to announce it has just taped it’s 1,000 th home! The episode featuring the 1000 th home will begin airing on nopricelikhome.com the week of Monday, July 7 th @ 6:30 PM on Rogers Television, Cable 13. To celebrate the success of the show the media along with other special invitees are invited to attend a wine and cheese at the 1,000 th home on Tuesday, July 8 th from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM.

Hosted by Rogers Television, the 1,000 th home celebration will be attended by the website’s designer, 15 year-old Keith Peiris, President and CEO of London-based Cyberteks Design, representatives from the Ontario Mortgage Action Centre (OMAC) the show’s title sponsor, contributors from local real-estate agents and the host, Phil Waddington.

On each episode of nopricelikehome.com(weekdays@ 6:30 PM) ten London and region homes are showcased by host Phil Waddington and viewers can enter to win prizes by watching and answering fun and easy trivia questions on each of the homes.

The interest in the real-estate show has been phenomenal and continues to grow since it’s premiere in February 2001. Now, in series eight, over 5,000 players have registered to play online, the website has received 100,000 visitors and over 1,000 weekly prizes have been awardedto contestants. In addition, seven viewers have won the Grand Prize draws since the series’ began including vacations to Sandals resorts, central air conditioner, Maytag home appliances and a hot tub. In the current series all players are eligible to win a Maytag side by side refrigerator.
